Hey, Matt! Thank you for your sharing, and I learned much from it, but I still have a question. We began to do SEO work for our site 2 years ago, and our organic traffic grew 5 times ( from 8K to 40K every day). But two years later, it is very difficult to get it grow more, even it drop to 3.2K every day. So can you give me any advice to make our site's traffic grow again? Thank you in advance!
While it's true Google can do a lot of the distribution work for you, it hinges on making smart decisions with your content strategy. In other words, Google might distribute the content you create, but it might distribute it onto page 32. Your job is to make sure as much content as possible appears as high up on page one as possible. This means your writers should be working closely with your SEO specialist to determine what keywords to go after -- ideally a combination of long tail terms and head terms, at an appropriate level of competitiveness given your domain authority and how aggressively you can go after the terms. Of course, that content should also be optimized for on-page SEO to improve its chances of ranking highly.
During the summer months you can also check out the Mesquite Pro Rodeo every Friday and Saturday night, which always offers up tons of thrills and excitement. No matter what type of sports fan you are, there are definitely a whole host of fun things to do in Dallas, and you’re sure to see some exciting action featuring some of the best teams in the United States.
The key word here is “valuable.” It’s what changes this definition from one that could describe almost any form of advertising or marketing. You can tell if a piece of content is the sort that could be part of a content marketing campaign if people seek it out, if people want to consume it, rather than avoiding it. So was VW’s 2014 “Game Day” commercial, which has been viewed on YouTube almost 18 million times as of the writing of this post, an ad, or content marketing? The answer is it’s both, depending on how it’s received by each individual who is exposed to it. The same will apply to any piece of content marketing you create, depending on whether the recipient received value from it or not. Of course the goal is to provide as much value from your content marketing to as much of your target audience as possible. At this point, despite this definition and explanation, you’re probably still wondering what exactly content marketing is. We can get more clarity by considering a few examples.

Let’s pretend you are a specialty coffee shop in Irvine, CA. Yes, your coffee is so good that people should travel miles on end just for a sip. BUT, those same people are brainwashed by a mermaid and want something close/convenient. With that, your campaign should have targeting that directly correlates to the probability of a consumer visiting your store based off of their location.
Companies need to get creative and enthusiastic about getting their content in front of the right people. Passive distribution — or, worse, distribution you do as an afterthought once you realize no one is engaging with your content — won’t cut it. Don’t let your investment in content go to waste by sitting on some of your most valuable marketing assets.

This knowledge will also enable a local business to make specific offers to the various groups in its community. Restaurants, for example, can extend special lunch-time deals to employees of local organizations or businesses. Restaurants and stores can provide particular incentives for local students with good grades, or who participate in community service. Stores can partner with other stores in their shopping centers—for example, offering a 10-percent discount to surrounding employees (who walk right past your doors every day on the way to work). In addition to the Cowboys and the Mavericks, Dallas is also home to the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League, the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball who are perennial contenders for the American League title, and FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The Rangers also play in Arlington at Rangers Ballpark, while the Dallas Stars share the American Airlines Arena with the Mavericks, and FC Dallas has its own purpose built soccer stadium in Dallas.
The term “organic traffic” is used for referring to the visitors that land on your website as a result of unpaid (“organic”) search results. Organic traffic is the opposite of paid traffic, which defines the visits generated by paid ads. Visitors who are considered organic find your website after using a search engine like Google or Bing, so they are not “referred” by any other website.
Webpages. What’s the difference between a normal webpage and a webpage that is content marketing? Consider The Beginner’s Guide to SEO from Moz, a provider of SEO related tools and resources. This resource, offered for free, has been viewed millions of times, bringing in countless customers who otherwise might never have stumbled across Moz and the services they offer. Or take a look at a case study from the design firm Teehan+Lax. Most case studies are boring. Their case studies are fascinating. That’s the difference between simply putting content on your website, and content marketing.
Those scenarios might have sounded like a lot of work to you, especially when considered alongside marketing programs that provide more immediate gratification -- like list purchasing, PPC, or trade show marketing that deliver names and email addresses in mere minutes. Often, content marketing is used when businesses realize those programs are either ineffective, too expensive, not scalable, or all of the above. Here's what I mean, using the "infographic generator" example above for demonstrations.
Traffic data is a great way to take the temperature of your website and marketing initiatives. When you are writing and promoting blog content on a regular basis, you can use traffic data to track results and correlate these efforts to actual ROI. Be sure to look at website traffic numbers over long-term intervals to see trends and report on improvement over time.
Acquiring new visitors is essential, but retaining them is even more important. Because it is made by relevant visitors, direct traffic is an essential sign of the health of the site. The number of direct visits, their proportion in total visits, as well as the behavior of those who went directly to the site (in Google Analytics is between predefined segments, so a few clicks away) are important indicators in analyzing a website traffic quality. Web analytics tools themselves segment traffic by source and distinctly mark direct traffic.
Amber Kemmis is the VP of Client Services at SmartBug Media. Having a psychology background in the marketing world has its perks, especially with inbound marketing. My past studies in human behavior and psychology have led me to strongly believe that traditional ad marketing only turns prospects away, and advertising spend never puts the right message in front of the right person at the right time. Thus, resulting in wasted marketing efforts and investment. I'm determined to help each and every one of our clients attract and retain new customers in a delightful and helpful way that leads to sustainable revenue growth. Read more articles by Amber Kemmis.

Still, if you truly want a comprehensive zoo experience, then you also need to take your family to the Dallas Zoo (official Dallas Zoo site), located in Marsalis Park, just 3 miles south of downtown. The Dallas Zoo has been around since 1888, making it the oldest, as well as the largest zoo in Texas, and it is home to more than 2000 animals comprised of over 400 different species. Your family is sure to love it.
I personally prefer things simple, so I think of content marketing technology solutions in terms of "need it" or "nice to have." Nice-to-have technologies are things like competitive intelligence tools, market research tools, or software that clues you in to real-time trends. Experiment with these on a rolling basis -- most will offer a free trial so you can validate it. But first, make sure you're set up with the core technologies every content marketing team needs.
The content you create should be shared on the social networks on which you're active. (And if you're not active on any, this is one of the reasons to get started.) Moreover, Google's algorithm considers social signals as one of its most important ranking factors -- socially shared content is a vote of approval, or at the very least importance, so it makes sense Google would consider it when deciding whether a post should rank well in organic search.
Dallas, Texas can be a wonderful and exciting place to visit. No matter whether you are staying here for business, a romantic getaway, or a family vacation, there are a ton of fun things to do in Dallas. You will have almost limitless options for things to do in Dallas, Texas, and the choice depends solely on the type of activity or activities that interest you.
Social branding and local SEO can be correlated. In the example above, we have been running Facebook ads on a small budget for this client for over two years. Now, we have successfully ingrained them as the leading service provider in their area, so that there is a direct correlation in the searcher’s mind: “If I need plumbing in Dana Point I go to Jeff Shaffer Plumbing.”
Organic website traffic/visitor is one of the SEO lethal weapons for increasing the website’s popularity. Buy website traffic to get more conversion when your site is listed on page 1 of Search Engines. Get website traffic from visitors that are very interested in your niches / targeted keywords. This will make your keywords and website considered more valuable by Major Search Engines.
The first impact and all the experience that the user has on the site matters on how your website converts. Often, the high bounce rate is due to an unfriendly web interface. In other words, if we get to a site and can’t find the navigation menu, and are attacked by an avalanche of pop-ups, we will most likely not have the patience to look for what we need.
As a ranking factor on-page, the first paragraph and headlines are important. All the elements on the page are optimized according to the keywords. The first paragraph should contain the main important keywords and explain what will the user find in the article. The subtitles that appear on the page are equally important because they will help the reader to understand very quickly what they will find on that page. If a user scans the page and in 10-15 seconds does not fin what he needs, it is very likely to lose it. The subtitles also help in structuring the content.
